Would you like to know more about our educational programmes? Curious about what's going on at the school?

You are welcome to attend our open house on
Friday 2 December 2011, between 12.00-18.00!

New for this year is that you will aply with digital portfolios. Please do note that most of the information and lectures during the open house will be held in Swedish, but we will have English speaking staff on site who will be glad to help you as much as possible.

You will find a pdf file of our preliminary programme for the Open House Day on this page, to your right. There, you can see which presentations will be held in English, marked (ENG). Please also note that we will update this programme, so if you plan on visiting our Open House Day: please check this page for the last version of the programme or contact anki.leissner@hdk.gu.se for more information.

During the open house you will have the opportunity to:

• Obtain detailed information about HDK's unique programmes at first and second cycle (bachelor and master level) within design and crafts and about the teacher training programme in Visual Arts and Sloyd
• Talk with staff and students who will be on site. We have many internationa students at the school
• Get answers about how to prepare yourself, how to apply and how studies can be structured
• Watch a presentation about how to apply with digital portfolios
• Go on a guided tour of the building, where you can see our workshops: jewellry, metal, wood, textile and digital
• Share the experiences of former students who recount their ways to the professional life after leaving the school
• Get information about research studies in design and crafts at HDK
• Have a coffee break in the HDK café

Deadline for application is 16/1 2012

16/1 is the deadline for application to HDK Programmes in Design and Crafts at BA and MA level.

The application is subitted at www.auniversityadmissions.se and is open during 1 Dec 2011 - 16 Jan 2012. News for this year is that you apply with digitalportfolios. Soon, you will be able to read more information about the application procedures through a link on this page.
