Design Individual Specialization second cycle/MA level

The aim of the programme is for you to be able to develop further your knowledge and skills in creative processes and for you to form enduring, explicit ways of relating to design and your role as a designer.

Round about us we see a growing need for a more border-crossing perspective in design activities in which cooperation beyond the limits of subject and competence is necessary to meet future challenges. This is why we have created a Master’s Programme in design without traditional division between design specializations.

You apply to only one programme in design. Within the framework of the programme you will have opportunities of immersing yourself in specific fields of design such as for example graphic design, product design, industrial design and interior design.

Design – Individual Specialization is a programme in which you will meet various types of competence in design and also different nationalities in the same class. Your own individual specialization is your starting-point when you participate in the overall themes of the courses and when you do team work. In this way you can gain contacts even while still a student, as well as broadening your horizons and developing a deeper understanding of the field of design as a whole.
