What can this programme lead to?

Design – Individual Specialization is a programme which prepares you for professional practice and doctoral studies.  After completing the programme you will have the possibility of working as a designer specialized in the traditional fields as a product or industrial designer, a graphic designer or an interior designer.

HDK’s border-crossing programme will also provide you with the possibility of mapping out your own path beyond the limits of the traditional professional roles.

You will have gained  clear insights into the various forms of competence and the questions that make the subject so vital, exciting and challenging. This will give you a broader perspective on the subject of design and an advantage on an ever more complex job market, where flexibility and the capacity to see things in their entirety are in demand.

A Master’s Degree in design will also provide you with the opportunity of applying for doctoral studies.
