Interventions

”Interventions” is a cross-disciplinary research project run by artists, designers, economist, architects, sociologists, and philosophers. Starting form the team-member different perspectives and disciplines the city and its development and the special case of Södra Älvstranden in Gothenburg are analysed, documented, and acted upon.

Where the project poses the question: - In what way can research and art intervene in the ever changing city-fabric? And in what way can art stimulate and influence the development of our cities? The project is financed by Vetenskapsrådet.

In 2o08 the group published “The politics of magma” at Art Monitor.In may 2010 the group will run a debate/performance during 4 days at 4 differents sites along Södra Älvstranden.
