Block.210
Block.210
I think play should be central in a family’s life and the purpose of this furniture is to bring the child’s play out from its “playroom” and in to the common space where the child’s play can be shared with the adults. A simple object as a block intrigues both children and adults, if you multiply them it gets even more interesting.
The furniture brings the child and the adult together in a common interest, play!
Block.210 is a coffee-table that should be located in the centre of the house, next to your favorite sofa.
The table is made of solid birch and Mdf. The 210 blocks are made of birch and among them you can find 14 different blocks, 4 of them spy over the rest of the blocks. Under the blocks there are 8 different colors that you discover when you start playing.
If you crawl under the table there is a secret playfunction, a couple of holes that you can use to push the blocks up. A perfect opportunity for interaction between the one who is under the table and the one who is above the table.

Moon
A collaboration with Maria Markovic.
"A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, there was a little alien called Moon. Moon lived on a small and cold planet, but everyone who lived there had very warm hearts. Whenever they met new friends, they would hug them and share the warmth.
Moon really liked to meet new and different friends to play with; his favorite game was peek-a-boo. One day he decided to fly off in his space-ship and look for friends on other planets.
First he landed on a planet where all the creatures were very angry. Moon thought to himself that if he stayed there too long he would get angry too, so he continued his journey.
Next he came to a planet where all the creatures were constantly farting. Moon thought to himself that he would start to smell bad if he stayed there for too long, so again he took off to look for a nice planet.
This time he landed on earth, and when he looked around, he saw all kinds of people, some were happy, some were sad, some were farting and some were glad. “Here I’m going to look for a friend.” Moon said to himself.
When you meet him, hug him tight and you will feel the warmth he’ll give you. To return the friendship you can play with him. Remember, he loves to play peek-a-boo."

Sagosnurran
The project is about creating a better atmosphere surrounding the medication of a child between 0-3 years old.
The product works like a distraction for the child when the child is given the medicine, it helps the child to focus on something else but the medication. The product also gives the child the opportunity to be more involved and be in charge of the situation to create a pleasant routine together with the parents.
In my project I have also researched in how to improve the flow of information between the health care and the parents. An effective flow of information is an elementary condition for the medication to be as effective and pleasant as possible. When the parents feel comfortable with the situation the child feels secure.

Connect.
Without darkness there is no light, in the light the darkness can create different climates. Shadows can be scary but they can also be beautiful, that depends on how you observe both oposites.
Connect, a product created to break a wall between two areas. A product that changes the mood on a place and connects two differences.
