I have created a semi private/ semi public garden in between the houses.
The large windows invite the garden and neighbors into the living room and kitchen.

Early in the project I decided to work with two different volumes interacting with each other.
This to be able to create open, light spaces at the same time as private, enclosed and cozy spaces,
without being forced to compromise. The enlosed wooden volume to the right contains bedrooms, work space, bathroom and storage space.
Ferry terminal-Saltholmen
By the dock, partly projecting over the water, my proposal for a new terminal building at Saltholmen rests. The building stretches alongside the narrow area which ends with the dock, from which ferries steer towards the islands of Södra skärgården(southern archipelago).

The site, on which the building is to be designed, represents, as i see it, a zoone in which "city-life" meet "island-life". As someone from the mainland coming for a daytrip to one of the islands, this is where you get the first connection with the ocean and its scent and sound. My ambition has been to design a terminal in which you get close to the ocean at the same time as you get protection from the strong winds. A building that opens up towards the water and the sailing boats
to the east, which I think give the site its character.

Bus stop
I just wanted a decorated bus stop. So I came up with this pattern of leaves.

Folding the square-Gamlestadstorget
This is an idea on how to reshape Gamlestadstorget and to create a new connection to the Marieholm area through a short pedestrian/bicycle tunnel. The upper section shows the tunnel. Beneath is a section through two waiting rooms, one for the bus traffic and one for trams.

Different street levels separate the waiting room for tram traffic from that of bus traffic.
