Everybody has at least one piece of precious memory playing on seesaw and swing with your friends or enjoying rides in the amusement park in your younger days. This design concept is based on psychoanalysist Freud's and Erikson's psychosocial theory. According to psychoanalysist Freud's theory, 5~8 years children who begin a relationship with their homosexual peer group learn various social skills for life through play in the group during their latency period. Besides, Erikson is emphasizing through his theories of personality development that the extra concern is absolutely needed for the parents who have 5~8 years children. Because in this latency period, children's character is developing by praise and blame. The diligence can be formed by achieving their given chances or the inferiority also could formed by failing and blaming in this period. The purpose of this study is to encourage psychosocial intimacy. The concept of this design aims to raise a sense of closeness between 5~8 years children and their homosexual peer group or parents by sympathy sharing from the same experience. The main material of this concept design is wood. The wood is chosen as the main material for this "couple rocking chair" because it is weightness and eco-friendly. And the cushion covered safety bar is placed between two seats for the safety and also to emphasize a closeness among children by sharing this bar.
