I'm Poping

Looking back at my childhood I have clear memories of building forts with the pillows from our sofa on my own and at other times with my siblings or parents. It's within this framework I have found my inspiration. The aim of this furniture is to create an artifact that meets the needs of both adults and children. I wanted to make a furniture that gives the child the opportunity to interact and create his/her own space for play but also a place for relaxation and comfort for everyone.

BFA exam project

This project is all about sitting in general, and sitting in wheelchair in particular. Today, there are ergonomically designed backrests and seats but not with the features that most office chairs possess, the ease to adjust seat positioning for the user. I have taken note of this in this project and sought to find a solution. The project seeks to transfer the features of an office chair to a wheelchair and through that create a product that is suitable for long-term sitting at the workplace and at home. The project has resulted in a wheelchair with focus on working life where the office chair meets the wheelchair in creating a new type of product.
