I have a bachelor degree of science in business and economics from the university of Halmstad. My focus was marketing and I wrote my thesis in that filed, the title was “This may also be done, but it is not right – About blog´s credibility as a communication channel”. Right now I write, along with two colleagues, my master's thesis in Business & Design. The topic is "what factors affect the transaction between buyers and sellers of graphic design?" Estimated date of my graduation is June 2.

Friday

This was a project where two courses were combined, Design & marketing and Design, strategy & innovation. We were meant to come up with a fictitious company, build their brand and set a design driven strategy. In the end we were told to create a communication device and establish marketing material to communicate it to the consumer. We came up with a company named Friday and we created a product that was made to work in a difficult environment. This is the result of the project, enjoy!

Frihamnen- den flytande staden

In the course Design & Society, we were tasked to consider the following senario: The City of tomorrow needs to be adapted. In 2050, the climate has been further affected. The average temperature is predicted to have increased by 3-4 degrees, this means that the water level rises by two feet. 20 percent of Central Gothenburg including Brunnsparken will be flooded at some time in 100 years. We focused on the area around Frihamnen and decided to attack the water instead of escaping it. This is the result of the project, finally is a video of the presentation at Älvrummet.

Integrated project with PRO

During the course integrated project, we worked together with PRO Gothenburg. PRO Gothenburg now faces a major challenge - they must meet the growing group of elderly who are not only more but also live longer. A group that also has distinctive needs and make completely different demands than today's retirees. We worked around the problem statement "How can PRO meet tomorrow's pensioners". The project aimed to identify how PRO Gothenburg can create a more attractive offer as an organization, and in a credible way to reach out to current and future retirees. In close cooperation with PRO Gothenburg, we developed an action plan which now forms the basis for further work within the organization.

Project with SVID and STD

This project extended over a whole semester and was commissioned by SVID (Swedish Organization for Industrial Design) and STD (Swedish engineering and design firm). The project was implemented in collaboration with ten engineering development services and our mission was to develop a proposal for how these ten can work together to meet the challenges ahead and build competitiveness. Our result is a model for a three-step process that companies should follow to achieve a working relationship. To facilitate the practical work, we developed a toolbox of exercises and methods that intend to help businesses complete the process. It was an incredibly fulfilling, exciting and challenging projects.
