Spina,Thorax och Femur

Spina, Thorax & Femur är ett projekt som vill belysa vårdmiljöns
visuella identitet och möjlighet till en djupare förståelse
och lekfullhet kring kroppsupplevelsen. Ett besök för barn på sjukhus skulle
kunna vara en del av ett kreativt kunskapsinhämtande.
Projektet har resulterat i två tavlor av glasemaljerat
stål varav den ena har en utskuren kroppsform i avvikande
färg och den andra innehåller flyttbara magnetiska kroppsdelar och
organ som kan fästas på kroppstavlan. Vårdpersonal och patient kan
med hjälp av dessa båda tavlor tillsammans tala och visualisera den aktuella diagnosen.
Detta ger en bättre möjlighet att förstå och bearbeta tillståndet både
för barnet och de anhöriga. Barn har rätt att bli tagna på allvar och
har rätt att få veta.

Spina, Thorax & Femur is a project that focuses on the visual identity
and possibility to a deeper understanding and playfulness around the
body perception within the nursing environment.A visit for a child at
the hospital could be part of a creative knowledge acquisition.
The project result is two boards of glass-enamelled steel.
One of the boards has a cut out body form in a diff rent colors
and the other consists of movable magnetic body parts and organs
mountable to the body board. Caring staff and patient can together
by these two boards easy explain and get to understand the functions
of the body. To be able to visualize the actual diagnose in this way,
gives a possibility to understand and adapt the condition both for
the child and the relative. Children have the right to be taken seriously
and have the right to get to know.
