De osynliga tingens förvar

I takt med industrins massproduktion samt i linje med producenternas vilja i att förmedla säsongens trender matas vi med ”behovet”, idén om att byta ut. Dessa snabba vändningar och marknadens effektivitet gör att vi får allt svårare och vi hinner inte ingå någon djupare relation med våra ting vilket medför att det mesta blir möjligt att ersätta. Detta medför att de ting som för oss är de viktigaste, de ej utbytbara, får en ännu starkare betydelse. Exempel på dessa ting kan vara souvenirer från resan, arvegods från våra kära eller kärleksbreven från ungdomen. Detta arbete handlar om att formge ett skåp som skall tjäna som en värdig förvaring av dessa ting.

In case of the industrial mass production and in line of the producers will to communicate the seasonal trends they feed us with the idea of changing. Those fast turns and the effectiveness of the market outcome in that we have harder and harder and we don’t have the time to be included in a deeper relation with our things and the most of it is possible to replace with something else. This picture leads to that our things that not are replaceable get an even stronger meaning. Example of those things can be souvenirs from the vacation, a memory of someone dead or the love letters from our youth. This work is about designing a cabinet who will serve like a worthy storage of those things.
